With this Newsflash, we would like to remind you of some helpful features available in the Xetra T7 Release 13.0 Simulation environment regarding the Midpoint functionality planned to go live with the T7 Release 13.0 on 18 November 2024.

1. Xetra Midpoint Focus Days 

Xetra is offering dedicated Midpoint Functional Focus Days. These will take place as follows: 

  • 17 October, 24 October, 31 October, 7 November and 13 November 2024

Please also refer to the T7 Release 13.0 simulation calendar for the daily availability of the T7 simulation.

2. Scenario testing for Xetra Midpoint

We are encouraging users to test different scenarios in the Simulation environment. Therefore, the Exchange is providing midpoint orders available for matching in selected instruments as follows:

3. Midpoint trading and Short Order Layout enhancements

Furthermore, we want to emphasize that the midpoint trading functionality fields MinQty (Tag 110) and MidPointType (Tag 30388), that were originally only part of the standard layouts, have been added to the short layouts which are now supported in the T7 Release 13.0 Simulation environment since 1 October 2024.

The market status window is an indication regarding the current technical availability of the trading system. It indicates whether news board messages regarding current technical issues of the trading system have been published or will be published shortly.

Please find further information about incident handling in the Emergency Playbook published on the Xetra webpage under Technology --> T7 trading architecture --> Emergency procedures. Detailed information about incident communication, market re-opening procedures and best practices for order and trade reconciliation can be found in the chapters 4.2, 4.3 and 4.5, respectively. Concrete information for the respective incident will be published during the incident via newsboard message

We strongly recommend not to take any decisions based on the indications in the market status window but to always check the production news board for comprehensive information on an incident.
