New Active ETF from AXA IM on Xetra: Access to euro corporate bonds using a decarbonisation strategy
Since Friday, a new exchange-traded fund of the issuer AXA Investment Managers is tradable via Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.
The AXA IM Euro Credit PAB UCITS ETF pursues an active investment strategy and invests in euro-denominated corporate bonds with an investment grade rating and a fixed or variable coupon. When selecting bonds, the portfolio manager is guided by the decarbonisation strategy of the ICE BofA Euro Corporate Paris Aligned Index. Companies that do not decarbonise and are not preparing for the energy transition are excluded.
The investment manager applies a top-down and a bottom-up analysis to determine the sector weighting of the portfolio. The sectors are evaluated on the basis of a comprehensive macro- and microeconomic market analysis. Fundamental factors such as earnings outlook, cash flow, asset coverage and credit requirements are analysed.
